Bye bye travel blog

Well my friends the time has come. I wish I had blogged more throughout the last month of my journey on the road. It was spent wrapping things up in Flint, MI then a second visit to Gamma Lambda at UW Eau Claire (LOVE those ladies!) and then back at High Point for prep and their chapter installation. Congratulations to our newest chapter, Theta Alpha!

A chapter installation was definitely interesting. I'd compare it to a wedding. Getting everything together for initiation ceremonies all throughout the day, coordinating professional pictures, then changing and onto the celebration banquet. The women and advisors at HPU are all too sweet and got me such nice cards in addition to the cutest Lilly Pulitzer mug.

Wrap up week with the rest of the consultants went by too quickly. We went and saw Carrie Underwood in Richmond, stayed up way too late and were miserable the next day for work. Hung out, watched movies, had good laughs around the dinner table.

I have to think how crazy it is that not even a full year ago I met these four amazing ladies who are now some of my best friends. That we came from chapters at 5 different schools in different states, with completely different backgrounds. But now we could fool you into thinking we were all longtime childhood friends. I hope we are all able to keep in touch as much as we wish and we're beginning to plan our first reunion next summer in Chicago...can't wait!

So this is my last blog post...well almost last. I've decided I want to do a "tips for the road" post for any consultants for next year or the future that may stumble upon this. And also for anyone who travels for business, we all need to be super smart savvy travelin' gals! I will begin composing that as it will be a list of many tricks and tips that will take a while to compose. For now I have moved on to a personal blog to follow my newest adventures.

Have a great day!

Until the real last post,
xoxo Anna
